This section features photographs and scans of my participation in different events.

2011:

Visiting India was a fascinating experience. In many ways we are similar at first sight and yet so different underneath the surface… While at the conference, the most rewarding moments were sharing my work with the other participants present and listening to some remarkable verse and papers from different SAARC countries. Participation from Afghanistan was rather unexpected and after having been exposed to some cultural folklore from Khyber – Pukhtoonkhwa, it was interesting to note the themes of pastoral romance and valour running through the verses.

2010:

Workshop conducted by me and Dr Zainab F. Zadeh (Director IPP, Bahria University) for ‘Dealing with Survivors of Sexual Abuse’ at NIP, Quaid e Azam University, Islamabad. October 2010.

2009:

Mental Health day activities at the Institute of Professional Psychology, Bahria University, Karachi.

2006:

2004:

5 writers from all over Pakistan were selected for participating in a workshop with the writer Kamila Shamsie. The results of the workshop were in the form of five short stories which were published in a book – a collection of short stories and later were picked up as a story chain by other aspiring writers from Malaysia, Egypt and Britain among others. Later, short films were made on these stories by other young students from different media studies departments around Pakistan.
